Our Standard Viola is perfect for a first-time player or beginner student. This viola is a sturdy partner to learning a string instrument and offers a beautiful sound and playability for an entry-level musician.
The viola your student will receive will be a used instrument. We test each viola to ensure it meets our high-quality standards and outfit it with a standard rental package to include:
One handmade viola with spruce wood top (not plywood!) and medium-flame curly maple back and sides. Each viola has ebony fingerboards and pegs and purfling. Our instruments are private labeled to ensure you receive the Day Violins brand quality.
