Our Standard Bass is perfect for a first-time player or beginner student. This bass is a sturdy partner to learning a string instrument and offers a beautiful sound and playability for an entry-level musician. We test each bass to ensure it meets our high-quality standards and outfit it with a standard rental package to include:

• One graduated laminate wood bass.  The bass is made just like a fully carved instrument and is a cost-effective and durable offering for beginning students. Each bass has ebony fingerboards, brass tuning machines, and purfling.  Our instruments are private labeled to ensure you receive the Day Violins brand quality.
• One bass padded bag case
• One graphite bow
• D’addario Prelude strings. 
• One colorful name tag to place on your case to distinguish your instrument from others
