Premium Viola Rental

Our Premium Viola is a beautifully handcrafted instrument optimal for intermediate students that have been playing for 2-3 years and need a higher level of playability and sound.  

Each viola set-up is completed by one of Day Violin’s skilled luthiers on-site at our shop and each viola is rented with an premium rental package to include:

• One high-quality spruce wood and medium-flame curly maple viola.  This hand-made viola was constructed by a single master craftsman luthier, ensuring consistent construction and an optimal sound.  This viola includes real ebony fingerboards and pegs.  There is purfling (which assists with any cracks that may occur) and has an antique varnish applied by hand.  The varnish gives the viola a gorgeous glow, allows the instrument to breathe, and creates a better sound.
• One oblong hard construction case to ensure the safety and portability of your viola.
• One carbon-fiber bow set-up by Day Violins luthiers
• D’addario Helicore strings.
• One colorful name tag to place on your case to distinguish your instrument from others 

 The retail price of the Premium Viola is approximately $1800-$2300.
