Mezzo Cello Rental

Our Mezzo Cello is a beautifully handcrafted instrument optimal for intermediate students that have been playing for 2-3 years and need a higher level of playability and sound.  

Each cello set-up is completed by one of Day Violin’s skilled luthiers on-site at our shop and each cello is rented with a mezzo rental package to include:

• One high-quality spruce wood and medium-flame curly maple cello.  This hand-made cello was constructed by a single master craftsman luthier, ensuring consistent construction and an optimal sound.  This cello includes real ebony fingerboards and pegs.  There is purfling (which assists with any cracks that may occur) and has an antique varnish applied by hand.  The varnish gives the cello a gorgeous glow, allows the instrument to breathe, and creates a better sound.
• One padded soft case to ensure the safety and portability of your cello.
• One carbon-fiber bow set up by Day Violins luthiers
• D’addario Helicore strings.
• One colorful name tag to place on your case to distinguish your instrument from others 

 The retail price of the Mezzo Cello is approximately $2000-$2500.
